A Meeting of Friends

Filmmaker Tom Weidlinger made a video in 1972 that records some of the experience of a Quaker Meeting for Worship, a Quaker marriage, and statements by several members of the Multnomah Friends Meeting.  Hair and clothing styles and the physical appearance of the Meeting House have changed over the years, but the experience of worship that brings us together has not.

Quakerspeak

Quakerspeak.com is a video series about quakerism that consists of short discussions of various topics by a wide variety of Quakers.  It is a project of the Friends Journal.  Speakers from both the programmed and unprogrammed traditions are represented.  At the close of Meeting we traditionally designate someone to be a “Friend in the Corner” to answer questions about Quakerism or our Meeting.  This video series could be considered to be a virtual “Friend in the Corner.”
