Oud Music for Palestine

Join kindred spirits: a group in London is offering a 24 hour oud concert for Palestine. We can listen to hours 14-16 here in Portland even though it will be 2 am in London. You can drop in for an hour or stay the whole time. The social hall is reserved for us to listen to the music and room 12 is reserved for those who want to share a listening and grieving space. The oud is a Middle Eastern short-neck lute-type, pear-shaped, fretless stringed instrument. It is the most central instrument in the Middle Eastern music tradition. Sponsored by QPIN
